They were supposed to be hit with a covidapocalypse this month:
…modelling suggests the state could record as many as 1100 cases a day as tens of thousands visitors flock to enjoy the cultural celebrations.
It’s predicted that up to 100 people a day will be hospitalised with infections towards the end of March.
Story dates from mid February…
Aaaaand here’s a graph from a fellow Gabber.
At the worst the chart indicates perhaps 300-400 weekly cases in March. Rather short of the prediction.
But hey, governments and health experts, just keep throwing out those Big Scary Numbers.
Cases might be lower than expected..

Like so much of the past three years, the reality is dwarfed by the hype.

Everyone has stopped caring about Covid metrics here in SA. Even the normies have moved on. The true vaxx fanatics are still wide-eyed with desperation to get booster no. five but even they are a disappearing species. The madwoman in the attic, our Chief Health Officer, Nicola Spurrier, is still touting her wares (‘Covid ‘cases’ and all the rest of it) but fewer and fewer are buying.

Good to hear! Much the same in Perth – there are a few devotees to the mask cult, but they’re disappearing. Chemists still put the Vaccines Here sign out – more from habit than from expectation, I dare say.
