What I do NOT understand is, our two nations have some of, if not the, best and brightest and we both wind up with putzes and schmucks embarrassing our peoples, while running each of our nations into the ground.

The best and brightest are self-aware enough to suffer self-doubt. The putzes and schmucks are usually walking specimens of the Dunning-Kruger syndrome: too stupid to realise that they ARE stupid. They never make a mistake that they can’t walk away from.

I have said time and time again that Gillard will destroy this country if given half a chance and so far it looks as though I will be proven right.
