But she’s recently made another grab for glory. South Australia is dropping the vaccine mandate for health workers. Don’t cheer just yet – there’s a catch.

It’s again, another little nudge to keep our workforce fully vaccinated.

As Shifted Paradigms says, One can imagine vaccine-refusers trying to hold back their laughter as they sign this declaration acknowledging they had been advised of the “proven benefits” of COVID-19 vaccination. But SP also sees a darker side.

In all seriousness, potential South Australia Health employees would be wise to think about the consequences of signing a declaration which acknowledges “proven benefits” of COVID-19 vaccination.

By signing a legal document acknowledging they had been informed of the proven benefits of COVID-19 vaccinations, health workers would officially be on record. This could potentially be used in various ways, such as in disciplinary proceedings, if they were to act contrary to this acknowledgment.

Could indeed be a trap. Perhaps the SA hospital staff should all sign as Nicola Spurrier.

Nudges little or large over the junk juice aren’t achieving much these days in Australia. In spite of the many scornful comments directed at the ‘sheeple’ who rolled up their sleeves, the land formerly known as Lockdownunder was a fair way back in the vax stakes. As early as 2021 we were doubting the narrative – but still, too many of us submitted despite our doubts.

Nicola wants a fully vaccinated health service? Good luck in your quest, Grey Lady. When you tire of it, try blowing steam out of your butt instead.

Fewer shots, however, doesn’t mean fewer doses. Rebekah Barnett at Dystopian Down Under has been doing some nudging of her own.

As part of its pandemic response, the Australian government purchased 267.3 million doses of Covid vaccines, enough to vaccinate Australia’s population of approximately 26 million people ten times over.

But figures released to me by the Department of Health (DOH) this week confirm that, three years into the vaccine program, only 70 million doses, or 26% of the 267.3 million doses purchased, have been administered, while 35% of vaccines doses have been wasted since the start of the vaccine rollout.

And it seems we are contractually bound to keep buying the crap for a while yet. We’ll have an expired vaccine vial for every one of our expired RAT tests.
