The world’s largest plane, the Antonov AN 225, arrived in Perth yesterday to deliver mining equipment.
It’s been a busy time at the airport, in terms of celebrity arrivals.
Iron Maiden’s singer Bruce Dickinson was in control as their 747 touched down in advance of their Perth concert.
But it was the Antonov that pulled the crowds yesterday. The plane was due to land around 10 – eventually touching down nearer to noon – but planespotters were queueing at 5am in readiness for the big boy’s arrival.
That’s what I call keen.
