I’ve seen his sort so many times, within government and without. Some political or corporate wallah possessing a small sack of, at best, middling abilities, who ultimately manages to blow it up into a Hindenburg of self-regard. These people are typically the very embodiment of the Peter Principle, and are often dangerously stupid.
