There was a time when Australia Day was the most inconspicuous public holiday in our calendar. O for the good old days…

I didn’t mention it on the day itself but Invasion Day Incorporated was front and centre in the local media spotlight as usual. Also as usual, a few celebrities were scrounged up to express approved sentiments. I assume that a not-Chris member of the Hemsworth family counts as a celebrity. Correct me if I’m wrong on that.
