One thing I miss about my childhood.

MAD Magazine.

They satirised everything. But it was obviously all satire.

More and more often these days, I can’t tell the satire from the genuine idiocy.

Case in point:





  1. I keep hoping we’re nearing the bottom of all this foolishness, but apparently we’re in something like the Mariana Trench of imbecility, and our decent is proceeding v-e-r-y slowly.

    • Exactly. Just when you think it’s all hit rock bottom…

  2. I meant “descent”, of course. When you get old, your spelling skills are the first thing to go.
