Mark Knight fires it back across the net!

Twitter has probably had to add a server or five after Knight depicted Serena Williams stomping her racquet in childish rage:

On Tuesday night, @knightcartoons had been mentioned almost 74,000 times on Twitter, including retweets — an increase of 88,900 per cent from the day before.

Criticism for Williams has come from tennis champion Martina Navratilova.

“We cannot measure ourselves by what we think we should also be able to get away with,” Navratilova wrote. “In fact, this is the sort of behaviour that no one should be engaging in on the court.”

Quite so. Let’s put the sportman – er, sportspersonship back into sport.
