Much as been said of Burt’s many action roles today. But he did comedy pretty well too.
I remember one of Bob Hope’s tv shows back in the 70s. Bob and Burt did a spoof on Papillon. Quoting from memory:..
Bob (as Papillon): What’s the warden like here?
Burt (as Louis Dega): Fantastic. He’ll slap you round and punch you every day.
Bob: What’s fantastic about that?
Burt: He’s got great hands!
