Four strikes on Alex Jones. But he’s not out.

Apple, Spotify, Facebook and Youtube all discovered – almost simultaneously – that they had a problem with Alex Jones and Infowars.

I’m not a great fan of Alex. But his silencers have, with this move, bought themselves a whole big heap of unintended consequences.

From the comments:

If Alex Jones is important enough to censor, he’s important enough to listen to.

  1. Rmminds me of the adage that goes something like, “I may not like what you say but I will defend your right to say it.”

    • That sums it up pretty well.
On another note – I do wonder why PJW, Stefan Molyneux and the like persist with these websites when there are alternatives available. What’s needed is one of them to say ‘Up yours Facebook, I’m off to Minds’ – or something to that effect. People are drifting over to the alternatives but a big name would be a powerful attractor.
