Another trans-Pacific story. This one, not so good.

A 16-year-old boy accused in the shooting death of a baseball player from Australia will no longer face a first-degree murder charge.

The Stephens County District Attorney’s Office filed a motion to dismiss the murder charge Tuesday against James Francis Edwards Jr. Prosecutors filed a new charge of accessory after the fact.

“Accessory after the fact”.  I hope he spends a few years being an “accessory” to a large tattooed gentleman after lights out.

And more of the same to his buddies. Much, much more.

  1. Complete agreement on that, Greg.

    • I’m not a lawyer but ‘after the fact’ to me means he had no part in the crime. That is not the case! All three of them were in on it.
