Roulettes over Cottesloe.

The Roulettes are the premier flying team of the RAAF. Yes, here in the Great South Land we still have a Royal Australian Air Force. I don’t mind. That opening R just gives the acronym that little bit extra. If we do eventually change our political system I hope they keep it.  AAF looks, well, naked.

The Roulettes flew the MB 326H Macchi for some years, but now perform in the PC-9/A turboprop trainer.

Based at Sale, on the far side of the country, they flew in for the Air Show at RAAF Base Pearce and put on this show over Cottesloe beach in suburban Perth.
