From the spam bin.

Hi! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any issues with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing a few months of hard work due to no backup. Do you have any methods to prevent hackers?

Go back in time and strangle them at birth. Wouldn’t that be great? Of course, once you get started down that path it might be hard to turn back. Ex-wives, schoolteachers, the dog who crapped on your prize-winning lawn…

All in all, it’s probably for the best that we haven’t yet mastered the fine art of manipulated temporal dislocation.

But I’m working on it… spammer.

Definitely agree with what you stated. Your explanation was certainly the simplest to understand. I inform you, I usually get irked when folks discuss issues that they plainly don’t know about. You managed to strike the nail correct on the head and explained out everything without complication. Maybe, individuals can take a signal. Will most likely be back to get a lot more. Many thanks.

Oh no… thank YOU. My large intestine sparkles like crystal after the  polishing you’ve given it. You can have your tongue back now.

Wow, this was a truly high quality post. In theory I’d like to write like this too – taking time and actual effort to make a great post… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and in no way seem to get something done.

My sincere condolences. But congratulations on dragging yourself away from the granny porn long enough to read my piece. Any time you’re bored with watching naked pensioners play hide the sausage, you know where to find me!

(Tip of the hat to Bob Belvedere at The Camp Of The Saints, who does this so much more tactfully than I.)

  1. Hi,
Aren’t they unreal, you really have to laugh at some of the spam. But they never seem to give up do they, it just keeps on coming, I also get some very weird spam, and just reading your post it is all so familiar. 🙂

    • There is something creepily familiar in the grammar. Hard to pinpoint it, but they do read like the work of the same person.
Maybe there’s a school for spamwriting.

  2. Off-topic (I don’t know your email address), but feel free to disseminate:

    • Very good! I saw that link at work today, but that site’s blocked by our computer cops.
(Although they let me visit Daily Shite… eyes roll backwards, incomprehensible!)
